Paper Management Tip
When we are sorting through papers with a client, so much time is spent re-browsing every sheet of paper to figure out why they saved it. If you find yourself going through stacks of paper and needing to re-read and figure out WHY you saved a certain paper, do your (future) self a favor and write a note about why you are saving the paper. Write the next action required or circle the phone number you need to call. If you want to get real fancy, you can write the date on the paper. When you come across that paper in a stack, you’ll know right away why you saved it and you can decide to recycle the paper or act on it.
